Quickstart
Sign in, install the GitHub App, add a repository and run your first analysis.
1. Create an account
Sign in at doxynix.space/auth with GitHub, Google or Yandex, or register a passkey.
2. Install the GitHub App
Open Dashboard → Settings → Connections → GitHub Installations and press Configure. Choose the repositories Doxynix can read. The app reads repository contents, metadata, pull requests and webhooks, and it writes only when you explicitly open a fix or documentation pull request.
3. Add a repository
Open Dashboard → Repositories → Create Repository, select the installation and the repository. Private repositories require the Pro or Team plan.
4. Run your first analysis
Open the repository and press Analyze. Choose:
- the branch to analyze;
- the document types (
README,ARCHITECTURE,API,CONTRIBUTING,CHANGELOG,CODE_DOC); - the documentation language (English or Russian);
- optionally, a file list and free-form instructions.
The job is queued in Trigger.dev. A temporary clone is created, parsed with Tree-sitter, passed through Sentinel → Mapper → Architect → Writer, and deleted when the run finishes.
5. Read the results
- Overview — health score, metrics, complexity charts and recent activity.
- Map — dependency graph, entry points and cycles.
- Docs — generated documents, separated by type.
- Pulls — PR review findings on Pro and Team.
6. Take the output with you
Copy or download a file from the Docs tab, export everything with dxnx docs export, or stage
the files and open a pull request. Per-file docs can also be produced outside an analysis:
dxnx analyze audit <file> creates the audit cache, dxnx docs generate <file> prints a preview, and
dxnx docs pin <file> stores it as permanent documentation.
